Brrrr mommy meet

while at Yosemite I met up with some of my online friends. I have known them for 2 years so it was really fun to meet in person. I met them while I was pregnant with Taylor in a group for women due the same week as me. I have stayed with them even though Taylor passed on. They have been such a support to me through it all and with Theo coming as well.

We did the hike to the falls together. Porter had a blast playing with Evan who is four. They were running all over the place. He was really sad to say goodbye to him and I wish that we could play with him more.. but he lives in California.

playing in their fort under the table.. apparently it was hilarious. They were instant best friends.
Getting a penny smashed. Porter is still carrying the thing around a month later. His has a paw print in it. He thought it was about the most awesome thing ever.
Theo about to fall asleep while getting what appears to be a stern lecture. Theo was off this whole day, I thought it was just too much sun. Later I would find out he had scarlet fever, poor baby was just sick.
Heading up the trail with one kid in the stroller and the other on my back. Let me just say my legs got a good workout.

my two adorable sleeping babes. we all three shared the same bed. At least two of us got sleep! I was one tired mommy and very happy to come home and kick snoring, bed hogging, kicking porter back to his own bed.

Some of the older people were playing Frisbee, Porter thought it looked like a lot of fun so he tried it out. He was actually surprisingly good! After a while he got hit in the head by the Frisbee and then he was a bit scared of it.

look at my dirty face mommy! There was this red dirt everywhere and the kids played in it... i tried to keep him away but it was a lost cause. i finally decided to just let him be one with nature. So he was just filthy by the end of each day. I took him in the shower and red mud was washing out of his hair! He looked like a strawberry blond.

porters first camp fire, and his first marshmallow. He was really excited but then once he had his first one he said it was too sticky. After that he just wanted to cook the marshmallows but not eat them.
