Theo my happy eight month old

Theo is a happy carefree baby. He is real low key and just enjoys playing on the floor. He will also sit quietly in your lap for long periods of time. The best part is he will sit in a high chair for a good hour before wanting out. This is a wonderful thing, since porter would only last maybe 6 minutes at this age! We can go out to eat and Theo will just sit there smacking the table and smiling away while I get to enjoy my meal.

He started to crawl on the 20th at exactly 8 months old. Since then he has already started to pull himself to a standing position on the stairs, your leg, the tub, and the changing table! I am thinking he might walk before a year like Porter did at this rate..

His will eat pretty much anything but loves avocado, sweet potatoes, and any sort of cracker, cereal, or bread he can feed himself.

He just started saying momomomomom, i love it even though I am quite sure he doesn't know it means anything yet!

8 months old and finally crawling!

They are doing construction to extend the Trax. Porter thought this was just the best show ever! We liked that it was free! :) He just sat and stared at all the tractors, diggers, dump trucks, etc.
We stood for a good ten minutes to watch the cement truck and the workers put in a new sidewalk.
on the train... porter would ride this every day if he could.

Water Fountain

For a fun day last week we took porter on the train into downtown. We went to the outdoor mall so he could run in the fountain. He LOVED it! Those older kids with the matching shirts were from some summer program for older kids... porter wanted to be a part of them and kept trying to play by them. He also wanted to go sit on the stairs by them.. i am pretty sure they never even noticed he was there, but he thought they were all best Friends!

Running through with Papi. He got soaked! He was not planing on running in the water hence the Jeans... but Porter thought we all should go with him. I got wet as well.. but there are no pictures of me because Cory thought he had the camera on when he was taking them but I guess he didn't! LOL!


I love the facial expressions in this one. Porter is just so darn happy, and Theo is completely enthralled in that spray of water!

Home Grown Tomatoes!

So there was this big huge plant thing on the south side of the front steps. I thought it was an overgrown weed at first but upon further inspection I discovered it was a tomato plant! Well actually a few of them. Half are cherry tomatoes and the other are regular.

So I have been enjoying loads of tomatoes.. which is really wonderful since I didn't have to plant them or tend them, all I did was move in in time to harvest the yummy fruit! Porter doesn't like the cherry tomatoes.. i gave him a few and I guess the first one wasn't good to him so he tried to feed his other one to Theo. He didn't see why there was anything wrong with this, we had yet another talk about why Theo cant eat food. He still doesn't have any teeth for starters, and even if he did a cherry tomato is just a choking hazard for little babes!

Our House

This is our house from the front. I love writing that... its OUR house! Wow, I own it. I love it.

That is Porter coming down the steps. The flower garden needs some work, but I have been putting all my efforts into boxes in the house for now. I did weed the flowerbed but that's all.

This is Theo's new position as of three days ago. He was hollering at me so I came in from the kitchen and found him stuck like this. He didnt know how to get back down and must have been getting tired.
