Porter when the flag went by with the army. So cute, he just copied what everyone else was doing.
these pics are out of order.. but at the end of the parade there were street cleaners.. which porter thought were cool except they were so loud.
Theo slept through the last half of the parade.
The fire trucks were a big hit, There were 4 or 5 of them in the parade.. which made me wonder what would happen if there was a fire in murray during the parade!

He was really into the helicopter that was flying about from the news.
Hey look mom! A firetruck! He was so excited but when it got closer he covered his hears and said it was too loud and hurt his ears.
A good time was had by all.. They even threw candy in this parade. Porter loved that. I thought they didn't do the candy anymore for safety reasons so was surprised they had it ( this is the first time I have been to a parade in murray.. last year we slept in and missed it!)
We went and watched the fireworks later that night. Porter cried through it.. again... i was hoping this year he would like them. He kept saying " mommy I scared the fireworks, they hurt my ears. I wanna go home." Theo on the other hand was cooing and singing and rocking and smiling up a storm! I swear these boys are polar opposites!

I love all of your pictures, Camilla. Especially of them asleep on the couch (I know that's the next entry, but it's still the same day). I just can't believe Porter balanced on the couch top!
