I asked him why he didn't want to grow up and his response was
" because i don't want to go to work. I want to stay home and play video games instead!"

great, my little boy already dreams of being thirty and living at home and being a bum all day! what every mother wants!
Later in the day we were talking about how everyone has to grow up. He then tells me
" well then when i grow up i want to be a mommy"
when prodded as to why he would want to be a mommy and not the daddy
" Because mommies don't have to work!"
I guess what i do all day is not considered work in his eyes! looks like i have some teaching to do so that he can grow up, move out, get a job, and appreciate all the work his wife does in the home!

Amem sista!
Too funny. Actually, he was it figured out. Sometimes I wish I could have his life of right now.
I think Kayla agrees with him.
And I think that means, it's time for him to learn about CHORES! :D
It's funny, Cole tells me that he is going to grow up, manage Burger King (only so he can eat every meal there) and play video games. He also plans on having 20 dogs (I'm not exagerating on that either). I really hope that his goals in life change before he realises his "dreams".
That is such a cute story! I had Peter Pan years also. It's sad how reality hits.
LOL! He's so funny. Oh well..he can be Peter Pan for now. Reality always sets in soon enough. :)
Man, wish I could just play video games all day too! lol.

It isn't that mom's don't work, but I think sometimes kids see leaving the house with you saying goodbye to cory as working and all the things you do are just things that happen everyday around the house. You are the best muti-task mom I have known since my mom. You remind me of her alot. She was always the supermom being able to raise kids, a husband, and keep a house 365 days a here. I can barely keep house for 1 lol.
