And just like that, its fall! We went from hot sunny weather to a crisp 72 degrees and perfect overnight! It just smells like fall outside... cool and fresh and like leaves that are turning. I love it! Its the best for long walks with the kids, driving with the windows down, and long lazy days at the park when we can actually enjoy it!
When I was a kid this was the time of year I loved to just lay in the backyard and read books while eating apples of course...

Oh, it sounds wonderful! I am so jealous... I miss fall and can't wait for things to cool off out here!
I remember the year we drove Thora out to Wayland. We left in summer and came back in fall but we were only gone two to three days. It was a dramatic change.
