So this morning I saw my midwife and am happy to report that I am dilated to a 3 and 70% effaced. I was really glad to hear that my body is doing something! She stripped my membranes and ever since i have been really crampy. I tried to talk to her about not doing the full on induction tomorrow and just seeing if i could go into labor. She changed the subject and just told me to come back again later this evening to get my membranes stripped again. Then she called up to the hospital and talked to the midwife there and then sent me up there for this procedure to help turn the baby from the posterior position. So I went up there and they used a rebozo technique where they basically have you go into different positions and try to shake the baby lose so they will reposition properly. Its kind of weird, but really relaxing and felt good actually. They got him to move a bit but not all the way. She told me they would work on it some more while i was in labor. I am left wondering what happens if i don't go into labor, do i have to show up for the induction tomorrow then? She never even let me talk about waiting.

You're such a trooper. I hope things go on their own tonight for you. I had to be started last time and it was my least favorite labor, but hey, at least we had him! He was also posterior and I didn't have any help trying to turn him...I wish I would have. Good luck tomorrow with everything and we'll pray that you go in tonight!
heres to wishing I had seen you at the pool!! I love that you are so patient. Most women complain at hte drop of a hat and I love reading your stuff.. even if not on the blog you complain.
Coming from somoeone who missed that of their pregnancy I am so proud you got his far.
Best of luck and lots of love!! Thinking of you today.
So are you in limbo with the induction???
And I had no idea the baby was not positioned correctly! I totally know how that goes!
You look awesome for being full term! I will keep you in my prayers!
